With several saw blades mounted together on the arbor, the cut width remains perfectly accurate with a Width Δ of 0.2mm on 2 meters long material.
To reach this level of accuracy, the wood material at the input of the machine needs to be uniform in thickness.

Multi rips combined with thin kerf saws ensure a more optimized width cutting with less loss of wood material. Wood value is maximized through efficient board ripping, which increases your production output.

You can run the machine with less staff for the same production volume, saving significant amount on your operating cost.
It is worth noting that you still need to rely on some qualified operators to fine tune the ripping process and ensure a close monitoring.

One multi rip saw can efficiently replace several single rip saws, leading to less machine maintenance. It also means having less saw blades to resharpen.
Indeed, as the saw blades are used together in a multi rip, they are less subject to be resharpened for the same volume of cut wood.
